Stoping Western V plow wing from floating back

Depending on which side is floating back you must remove the primary and secondary relief valves for that side.  If it is the left side that is floating back you must remove the releif valves located at the front, lefthand side of the valve body.  They look like two flathead screws one on top of each other.  Remove both of those and the ball, spacer and the spring.  Clean all the pieces and replace into the proper hole.  The secondary or top one turn it in untill it stops and then back it off 1 and 1/4 turns to 1 and 1/2 turns and for the bottom or primary one turn it in untill it stops an back it off 1 and 1/2 turns to 1 and 3/4 turns.  If it is the right side that is floating back you must remove the relief valves located on the rear lefthand side of the valve body these also look like two flathead screws one on top of each other. This should fix your problem, if it does not you should see your local Western V plow dealer.

Hydraulic flush on Curtis snowplow

Remove the cover of the pump to access fluid reservoir.  Remove drain plug with 5/16 allen head wrench.  Remove the fill plug with an 11/16 wrench and drain fluid.  Put plow in float mode and press all the way down on lift cylinder.  Once drained replace drain plug and fill reservoir. Lift plow a few inches off the ground  and take cylinder end of the hydraulic hose off of one of the angle pistons.  Retract that piston completely and put the hose end back on. Do the same for the opposite side of the plow.  Place plow in float again and compress lift cylinder completely.  Angle plow left and right a few times while on the ground and fill reservoir completely.  Replace pump cover and your done.
